Merlot

At first glance, what masquerades as a simple, shy wine eventually opens to a bouquet of blueberries, cranberries, with red and black plums and undertones of orange and tobacco.  The flavors soon mirror this bounty of fruits, with additional white pepper and subtle, dried spices.  The light, integrated tannins give way to soft vanilla with hints of coconut to round out the finish.  A wine not to underestimate.

Our Merlot pairs well with:

Our Parmigiano Reggiano, Havarti or Dry-cured meats, as well as our Cauliflower Gratin or Vegetable Hoagie.
