A Bountiful Harvest and Exciting New Ventures

Fall has arrived at Saddlehill, and we're reflecting on a bountiful harvest season and looking forward to exciting new ventures. We had an early harvest and are nearing completion, having harvested and crushed over 200 tons of grapes. Our winemaking team has been working tirelessly, and we can't wait for you to taste the results of their labor.

We continue to expand our offerings, with new classes, workshops, and tours designed to educate and entertain. As the outdoor growing season winds down, we're preparing for more greenhouse and indoor farming. We're excited to introduce hydroponic farming for micro-greens, herbs, and leafy greens, ensuring that our farm-to-table menu remains fresh and vibrant throughout the year.

Our wine club continues to grow, and we were thrilled to host a harvest party for our Founders Club and Wine Club members on September 29th. It was a fantastic event with our members in the vineyard picking grapes from Block 1  followed by snacks, wine, and good company.  Philadelphia FOX 29 covered the harvest party with Emmy winning news anchor Shaynah Ferreira and the segment was aired on Sunday Oct 6th. You can watch it here.

We're also proud to announce that we've launched our entry into the retail market, making our wines available in select New Jersey wine and liquor shops. Be sure to look for Saddlehill on the store shelves!

In late September, we had the privilege of hosting the Camden County Commissioners' press conference, where we announced our purchase of over 5 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the County's Lakeland Vineyard. The event was covered by all of the major Philadelphia news channels, and we're grateful for the opportunity to showcase our commitment to supporting local agriculture.

Finally, as the weather cools down, we're excited to offer fire pits on our rear lawn. Gather with friends and family around a warm fire, overlooking our beautiful vineyard, and enjoy the cozy ambiance of Saddlehill.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing many more exciting moments with you in the months to come.

Cheers,
