April Hours: Open Wed-Sun 11:30 am - 9:00 pm. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Reservations are recommended although walk-ins are welcome and seating is based on availability.

Guided Wine Tastings
Explore Saddlehill wines with a knowledgeable wine ambassador at our stand-up bar. Included is six 1 oz pours of your selections. Reservations required. (45 min experience, $25/person). If you would like a table after your Guided Tasting, please book a table for 45 minutes after your tasting begins. (Must be 21+)
Glass or Flight
Visit our stand-up tasting bar and enjoy wines served by our friendly Winetenders. Walk-ins welcome. (Must be 21+)
Food Pairings
Looking to enhance your experience with a food pairing? Reserve indoor seating in the tasting room or on our heated, covered patio and order from our Farmhouse Kitchen - wine flights and food pairings are available. Please note, the tasting room and patio are for guests 12 years and older. (Reservations suggested)
Our Family Area & Outdoor Lawn
These tables are first come, first served, walk-ins only. Saddlehill Winery is designed as a relaxing haven for adults to unwind and savor our delicious farm-to-table cuisine alongside our wines. To ensure a peaceful atmosphere for everyone, we kindly ask that children under 12 visit our dedicated outdoor family area.
Weather permitting, our outdoor areas welcomes visitors of all ages. This safe and secure space features picnic tables conveniently located between our alpacas and the vineyard, providing a perfect spot for families to relax and enjoy their time together. Young ones can have fun playing, while parents can still enjoy the beauty of our grounds. We offer a limited food menu and wine by the glass or bottle for purchase through our convenient QR code ordering system.
While some wineries restrict entry to guests under 21, Saddlehill Winery takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Our family area allows parents with young children to experience the beauty of Saddlehill while we ensure a tranquil wine tasting experience for adult guests.
Important Notes:
We do not take reservations on these tables. Due to the slightly uneven lawn, we are unable to offer high chairs.
Please do not:
- Move the tables
- Wander the property
- Enter & Exit Only through entrance of the tasting room
- No petting or feeding the animals
- Our fences are electric for the safety of our animals. Please do not touch the fences
- No outside food or drink
- No outside chairs, tents or blankets
Large Groups:
For groups exceeding 12 people, we offer a delightful selection of wine and food experiences! Choose from our indoor tasting room, one of our charming private rooms, or an outdoor setting (weather permitting).
Whether it be in a half private room for up to 18 people or a full room of up to 48 people click here for large group information request. At this time we do not offer a-la-carte ordering off our food menu for parties greater than 12 people.
At this time, Saddlehill is not a venue for weddings and other life milestone celebratory events. Because Saddlehill is a preserved farm we have restrictions set forth by the NJ State Agricultural Development Committee (SADC) and are unable to host special occasion events such as weddings and other life milestones in our tasting room until our building is 5 years old. We are considering making tented events available in the future. For more information on the NJ law click here.
Time Allotment for all visits:
We allot 1.5 hours for table times with parties of 4 or less, and 2 hours for groups of 5 or more. We allot 3 hours for groups greater than 18.
Tours
Winery & vineyard tours will begin in June.
Please note that self-guided tours and wandering around our farm are not permitted. For the safety of our team, animals, and fellow guests, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing dogs or other pets. Additionally, feeding or touching our animals is strictly prohibited to ensure everyone's safety. Please admire them from a distance!
